Welcome to ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC (“Company,” “ISO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our coaching services, workshops, community platform, website, and all related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using any of our Services—including participating in coaching sessions, participating in or joining the Excellence in Action community, or visiting our website—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Services.
1. Our Services
ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC provides professional coaching, consulting, and community engagement programs. These services may include:
- Individual, group, and team coaching sessions
- Workshops, retreats, and educational programs
- Access to the Excellence in Action community
- Digital materials and resources
Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process designed to inspire clients to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, mentoring or consulting, and it does not substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in our Services, unless otherwise noted (e.g., specific youth programs with parental consent).
By using our Services, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18);
- You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms;
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Coaching Relationship
Coaching is a partnership between the coach and the client. You understand that:
- You are fully responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being during and after coaching sessions.
- Coaching results vary and cannot be guaranteed.
- Any decisions or actions you take as a result of coaching are solely your responsibility.
- The coach will maintain professionalism in alignment with International Coaching Federation (ICF) ethical standards.
4. Community Guidelines
The Excellence in Action community is intended as a safe, inclusive, and professional environment designed for growth and connection.
Participants agree to:
- Engage respectfully with others.
- Show up fully and authentically – no masks, no titles, just you
- Maintain confidentiality of what is shared within sessions or community discussions.
- Honor and respect every voice, valuing diverse perspectives and lived experiences.
- Avoid discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behavior.
- Support and uplift others
- Honor the growth that happens in the community
- Refrain from promoting unrelated businesses, services, or political agendas.
Violation of these guidelines may result in removal from the community and termination of access to Services without refund.
5. Recording Policy
To enhance the learning experience and provide access to valuable insights, certain coaching sessions, group sessions, workshops, or live discussions may be recorded (audio and/or video).
By participating in recorded sessions, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Consent: Participation in recorded sessions constitutes consent to being recorded. Notice will be provided in advance whenever possible.
- Use of Recordings: Recordings are used solely for service delivery, quality improvement, or participant review. They will not be shared publicly without your written consent.
- Confidentiality: All recordings are treated as confidential and stored securely. Access is limited to ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC and, where applicable, the participants involved, or for ICF Evaluation purposes in which case ICF will be reviewing ISO’s performance and not evaluating content derived from participants.
- Revocation: You may withdraw consent to recording at any time prior to the session; however, doing so may limit access to certain replay features or group discussions.
- Intellectual Property: All recordings remain the property of ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC and are protected under copyright law. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share recordings without express written permission.
6. Payment & Refund Policy
Payment is due as specified upon registration or invoicing.
- Coaching Packages & Programs: Payment is required in full before sessions begin unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Workshops and Retreats: Payment policies are detailed at registration.
- Community Membership: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled per the stated timeline.
Refunds:
- Refunds will be provided if termination occurs within five (5) days and no services have been provided or accessed.
- Refunds are not provided once coaching sessions or digital materials have been accessed, except where required by law.
- If you need to reschedule a session, 24-hour notice is required. Sessions canceled with less notice may be forfeited.
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided through our Services, including but not limited to text, videos, images, resources, and course materials, is owned by ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC and protected under copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content for commercial purposes without express written permission from ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC or its authorized representative.
8. Confidentiality
We value your trust and are committed to confidentiality.
- Information shared during coaching sessions is confidential, except in cases where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, court order, or criminal activity).
- Aggregated, non-identifiable data may be used for program evaluation or improvement.
- The Client will have sole discretion to share with others (or not share) their feedback, assessments and any other information related to their specific coaching process. This is essential to building the trust needed for an effective working relationship between the you, other clients and ISO.
- While all engagements (sessions, emails, texts, conversations) are confidential, the coach may share certain topics anonymously and/or hypothetically with other coaching professionals for training or consultation purposes, and/or during speaking engagements. All information that may potentially identify clients will be removed from such discussions to ensure the shared information is non-attributable.
- To maintain credentialing as a professional coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the coach may need to report the names, dates, and total hours of coaching provided to the ICF. In turn, a representative from the ICF may contact you to verify that such session(s) occurred but should not ask you to reveal the content of the coaching. If you are requested to provide details associated with a coaching session, you should terminate the correspondence immediately and report the incident to the Coach.
- Please note that the coach may be required to disclose information gleaned during coaching sessions in the interest of client or public safety, or if compelled to do so by a court subpoena.
9. Limitation & Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, or contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services.
- Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services in question.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ISO Coaching & Consulting, LLC from any claims, financial or otherwise, arising from your actions, use of materials, or participation in Services.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any Services at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that disrupts the safety and integrity of our community. Upon termination, you remain responsible for all fees incurred prior to termination.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing any legal action. Any unresolved disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. The revised version will be posted on our website with the updated date. Continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
